Haiku-is a form of Japanese poetry, consisting of 17 Japanese on (a phonetic unit identical to the mora), in three metrical phrases with the number of syllables of 5 (first line), 7 (second line), and 5 (third or last line) or on respectively^[1], and typically containing a kigo, or seasonal reference. 

 

what you all have been waiting for is finally upon you all…. the nellsatl Haiku challenge is on and in full affect. i want you to write a haiku (or haikus) and i will post them on nellsatl and get a winner. you can send as many as you want. you have until Sunday to put your entry in, so i want you te Email me at WEAT2K@gmail.com or place it in the comment section on my blog… and i will not show it until the time is right….. here are some early examples of haikus that i have already received….
